To thank the community for supporting us and to expose more youngsters to the world of dance, we perform at a variety of functions around town when invited! Some of these events are: St. Jude's Ranch for Children Open House Boulder City Chamber of Commerce annual World Day of Prayer Boulder City Folk Festival ... and more! We always extend financial help to children who want to dance but can't afford to pay for lessons because they either live in foster care or at a children's home. We never charge them for lessons or costumes and extend a warm welcome to them as part of our dancing family. All we ask in return is that they attend class regularly, work hard and follow our studio policies. We also give a full scholarship each year to an upper-level student who shows potential to be a dancer, works hard, never misses class and has a desire to pursue dance/theatre as a career. Some students pay for their own lessons by working for us after school. They clean the equipment in the gym, water the plants, go to the Post Office/Bank for us, dust, answer the phone, help with the mailings, etc., etc. They do a wide variety of chores for us to earn money to pay for their lessons. We love to hire them and appreciate them. |
